How many tickets from the Wigan allocation remain unsold?

They seem to have only sold out of the £45 tickets so does anyone have a clue how much of the 21,000 allocation remains unsold?. Will these seats remain unsold or will Wembley put them on open sale?, i'm presuming that the Met might object but bearing in mind the F.A being top drawer money grabbers i'm sure they won't want ANY empty seats.

There doesn't seem to be any indication how many tickets remain unsold both from Wigan's allocation or the neutral sections but i'm half expecting the tabloids to have a big story about the first non capacity final at Wembley.

There's a statement from City on here about the club expecting a further 6,000 tickets from Wigans unsold allocation to go on sale either Friday or Saturday morning.

Seriously though have they actually shifted less tickets for the final so far than they did for the Millwall game?. I'm not going to knock their support but it seems really odd, you actually get sides taking more for play off finals from the lower leagues who have lower average gates than Wigan.

The smaller clubs usually fill their allocation by taking all the family, but at those prices they won't be

Could be that the two teams in the play offs are more evenly matched and the odds aren't as heavily stacked in one teams favour as they will be on Saturday.

Add that to the cost of the tickets compared to the play offs and that's two of the biggest reasons I'd guess.

they're not too sure who's responsibility it was to buy for which family member, so some guys have been bought five tickets and others none

Fair point about the prices hence them only shifting all the £45 tickets so far.

It's the prices. As a token Wigan fan who never goes to the game, would you pay £85 each for the family to go down to London ? Could cost £500 for the weekend.

No! Fair point!
To be fair, it's a staunch RL town with a football club as well.
I'd imagine a fair few Wigan fans are rugby lads too so coughing up for both is going to stretch a lot of folks!
Not the most affluent area also!
Can't see us getting any more off their allocation though!
