Not such a great turnout against boro last year but I think the weather then played its part in that as I have never been so cold at a game, remember necking a bottle of bud at half time there and I was that cold the bud felt warm...lol..anyway I think the 09.20 from pic. Changing at Sheffield then the 19.03 on return...

Boro was feckin freezing last yr

we get a certain percentage of the total capacity for the ground (10% i think) So if the Walker stadium holds 35,000 we'll only get 3,500.

secound, thats was my coldest game ever

last time i went to leicester [filbert st ] i went to a pub where the leicester branch have meeting and it was a top day out, plenty of grub and booze

I think a visiting team in the FA Cup are entitled to about 1/8th of the grounds capacity ........ and so if Leicesters capacity is just over 32,000 ... that would mean around 4,000 tickets going to City.

Leeds got just over 9,000 tickets for Old Trafford the other season in a 75,000 crowd ........ and Leeds were also given just over 4,000 tickets for a cup tie at Maine Road , when i think our ground was limited to around 32,000/34,000 at the time ...... so that would appear to bear the 1/8th theory out.

Its 15% or as close as segregation will allow - we'll get 5000 if we want them

Leicester Tigers play on the Saturday on Sky so our game will be on Sunday?

Coldest I've ever been at a match, we were right at the top row. A lot of lads got stuck on the M62 on the way over and missed the match.

Everyone i spoke to is bang up for this, half filled a 24 seater already! Think there will be big demand for this

Last time I was there was for another Cup early-rounder - I remember that french git who now plays for Chelski (cant say his name for fear of causing offence) scoring the winning goal.
Good new ground, great views and a marvelous Real Ale house nearby (somewhere near the hospital?) where a lot of us blues got in for a few before kick off.

-- Mon Nov 29, 2010 8:56 pm --

Dickens Heath is alright mate, it's like a brand new village built about 10 years ago, though the boozers aren't cheap. Shirley itself is probably more or less the same as when you left it! Hall Green dogs is a bark.

Where abouts are you living bojangles?

Back in the gods county of Lancashire now mate.

Funnilly enough last time we played Villa at home i was talking to a Villa fan who'd been drinking in my ex local the night before. The Barn if you know it? I used to live around the corner. Long story how i ended up there but it was alright for a couple of years.

I`ve had a few sherberts in there.
