Sunderland 1 Man City 0 Mick Buckley scored..might have been last day of the season...presumably we needed to win to stay up

first game in 1965 started going regular in 68
including aways and friendlies etc I've seen City at over 80 grounds so must be 800+

and still never seen City play at Hartlepool!

My first game, makes a league match with Southampton seem positively exotic!

I'll bet there are a fair few Bluemoon members who haven't got a clue what the Full Members Cup actually was!

Always thought it odd that my first game at Maine Road and last were against the same opponents.

I was very nearly the same, my second game was a 4-2 home defeat to Southampton, all I remember about it was they had Peter Shilton in net!

Been going home and away for just short of 50 years, plus most pre season tours etc, currently clocking over 2000 games, I think probably near to 2100.

Very interesting reading about how long people have been going for. Amazing commitment! I've tried to work it out for me and it's about 180 games between 1999 to present day. I had a season ticket from 99 - 07. Gave it up after Pearce's final year in charge - 10 goals at home all season and Joey Barton as our top scorer with seven - how times change!

INCREDIBLE.

First game 1963 relegation season against the rags....we lost but a regular since 1966, rough guess 1500 games home and away , is it double points for European away ?
