How many trophies will we win?

Dispatch Dortmund and then-
Prem done
Lg Cup 1 win
FA Cup 2 wins
CL 2 wins one draw or loss of lower goals than the win

so we could be looking at just needing to win 5 games, i will be getting excited if we progress past Dortmund

Anyone know how much rotation Bayern and PSG have been able to do?
Bayern can probably do whatever they feel like.

PSG are in a real scrap in their league. They are in a 4 way scrap and they just lost at home to the team that's now in 1st. There only 2 points above 4th, which means they're in danger of not qualifying for the CL next season via the league (although you'd think that's an unlikely occurrence).

If it's still on come the 26th of April I will start to believe.

By then we could have the League Cup in the bag, the Premier League all but sewn up and booked our place in an FA Cup final and a Champions League semi-final.

I'm not getting ahead of myself just yet though as it can all fall apart so quickly.

It's not impossible , but it won't be easy, one game as a time.
As we have one hand and 3 fingers on the Prem Trophy, I prob wouldn't play out strongest team in the league, we can afford to lose s couple even tho I wouldn't want to.
Play our strongest in the 3 cup comps and see where we go from there.
Whatever happens its been a great ride even tho I've been watching from the comfort of my armchair, and not been there in person.

I think Bayern will do us to be honest but we have a real chance of the domestic now.

still a long way to go though.
Don't think we'll be up against Bayern if we make the semis, Lewandowski is a big loss in the one position they've no depth.

There would be a very sweet irony if the man who secured United their precious treble was in the manager's seat watching us eclipse their greatest ever achievement.

We will never get a better chance of a quadruple , Spurs , Chelsea and probably Leicester as proven are all very winnable games the acid test will be the German Rags in the Champs league , and Pep's continued obsession of giving opponents far too much respect. We play our game , our way and let Bayern worry about us.

Jumping the gun.

Both Bayern and ourselves have Quarter Finals before then, and with our record of shitting the bed in them, there’s no point daydreaming of a tie with Bayern.

Just realised how mental May could potentially be. If we get past Dortmund, Chelsea and win our CL semi tie, we’d have seven games in May I think. It’s a good job we’ve got the title pretty much wrapped up, imagine having to put up with a title race while fighting it out in every other competition. It would be the most stressful month of our footballing lives.

Pep:

"They are human beings, they are not machines," Guardiola told reporters. "I know the players, some of them are upset all the time because they want to play every day but this is not possible.

"To compete in all competitions in this year without spectators, in the shortest competition ever, (if) you don't rotate you don't compete in all competitions and you will not be in the position we are in now.

"Of course they could play, they have an incredible mentality but they need rest. UEFA and FIFA killed the players because it's too much. We haven't had one midweek off since we started, not even one."

"There is no player who can sustain (this), not just physically but mentally to be ready every day to compete against opponents to win the game. It's impossible.

"I rotate I'm a genius, 'well done Pep' but when we lose and I rotate people say 'why rotate? You have to play the players like normal'. But it's unsustainable.

"The next game we are going to play fresh legs and against Leeds [United], more than ever, fresh legs."

Wouldn't be surprised if one of Garcia or Aké start against Leeds.

I think Torres and Aguero will start most league games now too.

City have been playing seven to nine matches a month for much of the season.

I suspect that rather than continue to have four or five changes each match, City may use virtually different teams, one in the Champions League and Cups as against another in the Premier League, certainly once the title is secured.

We've got the players fit when it matters and we have the system. The challenge is the mentality. The defeat against United showed the potential flaw in terms of winning it all.. Must be insanely difficult to maintain the intensity of mindset
