Well, as Real Madrid are making all the big money moves, the window that was supposed to be about City I feel has taken all the limelight away from us. Some fans may like this as it leaves us in peace to pursue our deals. But I feel al the attention should be on us as we god's own club hahah.

We were never really in for Kaka and Ronaldo! However this I feel is the scenario now of all the world class players:

Kaka/Ronaldo - gone to Madrid
Villa - Apparently gone to Madrid - I thought we had a shot here.
Messi, Xavi and Iniesta and may be you can class Henry in this bracket - All at Barca

Ribery - Apparently chased by Chelsea, Rags, Madrid and Barca. - Can guarantee we have no chance in hell here.

That Leaves Eto and Aguero - I think the race is on to chase these two players who will get them I am not sure I think we may bid for Eto but definitely wont get Aguero.

Should Eto fail, I think the biggest transfer for us this window is Tevez, he is the "Signing" for us. So lets us see if this eventuates, as trany leaving even this nailed on signing has made me nervous.

Tevez deal is making me nervous. If it was nailed on I have no doubt it could have been announced by now as Kaka deal was completed while he was away on international duty as well.

Tevez should realise, the rags had the whole season to make his deal permanent. They never made that move and made him feel wanted, now that ronaldo has gone they all of a sudden want to make it permanent now. He should make a move like robinho and say fuck you rags I am my OWN MAN!
 
We WON'T get any SUPERSTARS.

Yes it would be lovely but we aren't at that stage yet.
Not enugh pulling power or appeal - all we can offer is a big fat dobbing sack of cash and a "project"
What we need to be looking for is Decent Solid Experience to take us top 6 or higher by next summer.
THEN we can peruse the shelves of shiney new SUPERSTARS.

Its been said many times but they are true words, even though we don't really want to believe them
