well it between us and scum and neither of us has announced this officially

once it on either OS we'll know if he's coming or not

Personally I think we've got a good chance put I won't be certain till he's got a picture on the OS with Hughes

but your initial post basically slated about 90+% of this forum as SIMPLES and stated that he will not be sign (with no proof to back it up) and you now stated that it your opinion that he will not come and this must be based on hearsay too as nothing about Teves is set yet as far as the masses know.

you called my statement hearsay, which it is, proves that we don't know where he'll be playing next season and as such there is always a chance however small it maybe.

No denial from city, talksport are reporting a done deal the bookies appear to think we are signing him, rags not took the option up yet, radio mitre in argentina say he's not going back to them.

but at the end of the day its all just speculation and wishfull thinking and no one can prove otherwise,
dont get me wrong i would like to see him at city but i wont believe it till i see it on citys website ive learnt from the kaka saga and im not going to show myself up by mouthing of to rags about tevez cos i know if we dont get him ill never hear the end of it.
 
We finished 10th and we arnt in Europe next year, If you expected a world super star in the Kaka class you need to get a reality check.
Teves is in the below bracket with the likes of Glenn Johnson and Barry very very good players but not world super stars and well in our sights and real options and will improve us a lot.
 
The thing to ask yourself with tevez is what clubs are feasibly in with a chance of signing him?
1] scum - I think the damage was done last season, Tevez seems fiercly proud and the scum not giving him a perm contract shows they were using him as a porn [not porn star] [unless its a niche site!]
2] Real Madrid - no interest to note, signing other players at will]
3] Barcelona - havent, shown any interest as far as we know but a possibility but unlikely
4] Bin dippers - skint so no way
5] Stockport County - a possibility but fitting him to their formation may cause problems elsewhere so prob not
6] Italian clubs inter/juve/ac no apparent interest bu Inter a possibility, a Mourinho type player, juve don't sign anyone anymore. ac milan a possibility i guess......
7] US - can it happen? Logically speaking it would be bizarre for professioanl reasons...no recent history of trophies and no CL next season...so logically it SHOULDN'T happen. However, i believe Tevez is one of those players who needs to be loved, just loves playing footy.....he's won a CL medal [because JT decided to have a seizure instead of kicking a ball in front of him past a pensioner] so has that in his locker.....IMO I believe it will happen. like I said - it SHOULDN'T but Barry likewise......logic is out of the window these days with City and we are pulling off some very creditable signings...no galacticos but that isn't likely anyway.....Tevez will be a City player, trust me.......the biggest give away for me is that if the scum were to sign him it would be done, likewise any other club IMO....
Conclusion: Ireland passes to Robbie who clips inside to Tevez and City cement another win to go top of the league with 1 week left of the season..............................imagine!!!!!!!
