How much City Memorabilia do you collect?

You can get a lot of old shirts off ebay for a few quid sometimes. 1934 FA Cup final prog is on ebay sometimes at ridiculous price (over £1000) Nice if you can afford to spend that amount on a programme.

The first ever programme for Maine Road was on e-bay about 6 weeks ago, I bid £480 but it was pulled so I think some one had offered a buy it now price. There is one of the early Man City Cup Final programmes on now and stands at around £650 with a few days to go.
By the way I have approx 26000 programmes of which I have a huge Man City collection dating back to the 40s

I still treasure my first memory of supporting City and guard it jealously.

Call me old fashioned, but I recorded skysports news on 1st September 2008 and I still have it on skyplus.

No-one can take those memories away from me. Unless I forget to pay my subscription that is.

City Vs Fulham at Maine Road in sep 1st of 1984, exactly 24 before sheik mansour take over. By the way, we lost: 3-2.

I have around 250 City cigarette cards and a nice collection of postcards of team groups dating back to 1902.

I used to buy every single shirt we had, every single programme, keep every ticket... I ran out of space. My shelf was actually bending under the weight of all the programmes, City Mags and KOTKs, and I has no room left in my wardrobe for any other gear.

So a little while ago I sent all my kits to Sierra Leone and binned all the programmes and tickets I didn't want. I just kept ones from my first ever game and big games like promotions. Also got a signed shirt from the last ever game at Maine Road - for a few years this was my prized possession (signed by Kevin Keegan, The Goat, Dunney, Schmeichel, SWP, Benarbia, Anelka, MVF, amongst others).

I think my prized possession is now my ticket and programme and memories from the 2011 FA Cup Final.



My mates brother waits for the team to get on the coach after every game and he gets every single team sheet off the club, he's literally got thousands and thousands of City things in his gaff.

similar to other guys, bar a handful i have every home and away programmes from the 2nd world war. and every home and away shirt from 88/9 bar the Arsenal yellow one!

my prized possession is a newspaper from 1934 after the cup final victory, i used to buy programmes home and away, but only buy home and european away.have loads of shirts including ray ransons from the brighton away game in 82,used to do scrap books with cuttings from early 70s until about 5 years ago, just got pissed off with all the negative shite the media were writing about us then, only buy end of season match reports. Now the only thing i collect is great memories and hangovers at least the hangovers go away !
