How much will J.Navas improve the team over J.Milner?

We need both.
Horses for courses and all that.
If we played 4-3-3 Milner would be the ideal RDM but he can also play RB, RW and LW. When Micah goes Milner should be groomed as Zaba's deputy at RB.
If you want fast counter attacking Navas is fantastic. I do wish he'd try and beat people on the outside more frequently though.

Right side of the team = 2 from: P.Zabaletta, J.Milner & J.Navas,

I rate Navas but I would looking for a bit of improvement from him next year. He clearly has everything regarding a great winger but his pace is hindered with his constant fear of losing possession. Instead of trying to beat a man with speed he's always cutting back towards the right back and to me it can have a big impact on attacking and counter attacking. If he imposed himself a bit more and was able to use his pace more efficiently, I think we'd have the best winger in the league. Milner is a different player with a bit more fight, so you always know what you are going to get with him in the team (more consistency) yet he doesn't have the ability as Navas. In my opinion, Navas should be looking at Walcott to see how he could improve and use his pace more effectively.

None. Even Petrov was better than Navas.

Shut up.

My opinion. And i'm entitled to it... Navas is all speed, but Petrov had a knack for taking on defenders.

So really, get over yourself and stop insulting those who have a different opinion to yours.

Navas is simply a rubbish footballer. The most predictable player in the league, nothing but a detriment to *your game plan.

*Corrected your statement for you as clearly your not a true city fan. Take Ozil over Silva? Good one.

Appears weak & lightweight physically &mentaly to me.
International & world class players dominate their immediate opponent & Jesus don't .
He has great technique, but he does his best work going backwards whereas his role is to stretch the pitch wide, get beyond his fullback/defence & deliver 'Killer'balls & create GOALS.....again.......and again.......and again.......and again!!

That's the principle reason we bought him....that was the image WE were sold. Has the coach told him to be less offensive ? Has he been told not to 'push & run' & see what the full backs made of? Has he been told not to speculate with viscous balls behind defenders/across the 6 yard box for incoming players? I don't know & if he has...what a waste & error & judgement by the coach.

Jesus is a dreadfully one footed B game squadie without the physical, mental strength & will to win required of TOP players. NOW PROVE ME WRONG JESUS!!!

Navas is the main winger in Spains squad, tells you all you need to know about how good he is.

This just isn't logical. Do you know Navas has more assists than Silva and every other player in the squad (7 in league, 3 in CL, 6 in FA Cup)?

He's not perfect but is a valuable member of our squad. Maybe he'd be more suited for the impact sub role in many games, but we've often needed him to start because of injuries and other reasons.

He has more assists this season, his first in England I might add, than Milner has in two. Also has more assists than Ozil and Mata.
