I agree "multi ball" with the likes of Delap cleaning and drying a "single ball" the games must lose about 5 minutes each PL game.
I don't know if this was shown on TV, but when edit: Villareal was starting all their silly time wasting, Clichy was warming up and the ball went out of play in front of us. Clichy demanded a ball from the (very speedy--they deserve kudos) ball boy and absolutely rifled it at the Valencia player coming to take the throw, it hit him in the chest and he appealed to the ref. It was absolutely hilarious and I think it has been lost in all the good that happened later. Gael deserves credits for the showing.

Anybody know if Derek Calderbank is still with City? Still alive? He was a scout and in charge of ballboys at Maine Road.
I used to ballboy at CoMS for a bit and yeah, Derek is still in charge of the ball boys now. He's been doing that job for years and years.
