'How to buy a football club' - Ch4 Mon 8pm

Wonder if a journo has got the time to go through all the loan transfers from the scum over the last 14 years and try to link up to ones with dodgy owners - especially any that can be traced back to that thai syndicate :D

I'll bet you if they did - a familiar name would crop up as an agent inevery single dodgy transfer they've ever made.

Nothing apart from Robson fronting a investment fund aimed soley at buying clubs for cheap and then selling them for a profit.
Bit more than that. Clearly Robson and Sim, both clearly with close connections to Ferguson and to the rags, were trying to breach the FA's rules on conflicting interests with regards to ownership of two or more clubs. They were well aware of the rules that banned them from doing this and were trying to structure deals with puppet owners in order to do this.

Taggart just got a bit of a humiliating to be associated with these people, and, for some of the suggestions made. Sim's private stuff I can't talk about made me laugh particularly hard. Possibly Taggart likes smashing in some back doors when in Thailand? Taggart's betting tips, and also the anti-competitive cosy little club he has around him with Elephant Man and Twitch. Not anything like enough proof to take him down on anything but still comedy if you're just looking for a giggle at his expense.

Anyhow, for anyone who hasn't watched it and wants a laugh, watch it. If the internet for you is srs biznez stay away unless you take pleasure in watching Robson go down.

Nothing struck me as shocking in the program at all.

Robson's just ended up getting involved in a group of people who want to make money from football.

The fact that the same bloke wanted to make money out of more than one club is probably the major thing that the program was trying to focus on, but even that isn't amazingly shocking. It's bad by all means.

The loaning of players business didn't need an undercover reporter to explain to us how and why it happens. It's happened for years. People have mates.

It was quite gash. The best bit for me was when the presenter went through numerous clubs to try and find out who actually owned the club and where they were based. Jersey, Barbados etc.

Come Tomorow morning, Alan brazil, what do you think what you saw on tv last night ronnie? Irani, well al it does seem a bit dodgy, a bit dodgy ronnie it Is scandalous , I know al teves won,t like that contract?

I was in Bangkok last week on holiday and walked past that bar. There was only one person in there having a drink where all the other bars in the area were quite busy. Had to laugh but couldnt bring myself to take a photo.

Interesting to hear when baconface goes into the private bar that all phones are confiscated because he likes to party. Incidently, Soi Cowboy (prozzy street) is only a 15 minute walk away from the bar.

A Rag at work yesterday was saying we were the club involved? Mind you this is the same Rag who went to City's shop to buy his Blue nephew a City football and then claimed they didn't sell them..
Fun for him tomorrow

As tempting as it is to draw negative conclusions from this documentary about Ferguson, people should remember that producers of such programmes are occasionally very adept at extremely tendentious and sometimes absurdly one sided output to support their 'story'.

If they are setting out to prove something you can be sure they will do their utmost to arrive at that conclusion sometimes with little consideration for what the actual truth is.

There was nothing in this documentary which incriminated Ferguson in any meaningful way.
