The game at Southampton wasn't his 1st at City, he hadn't officially taken over in time

Met the drunken idiot about five years ago at a sportsmans dinner. He was the after dinner speaker, unfortunatlely he was that pissed he was unable talk much at all. Embrassed to be in the same room as him!

go on then tell us who ?

He signed my namesake Big Niall!

if you think a 6'5 centre forward who thought he was a winger and was relatively piss poor in the air was one of our greatest players you my friend have either not watched City for that long or you are seriously deluded .

goals to games not a patch on Goaters not fit to lace Colin Bells boots
there are two names for a start the list is very large of players that were better for the club than quinn
Quinn would not make it into the top twenty best City players

To be fair he sorted the team out that first season when "relegation" threatened. I remember him dropping Bishop and putting Megson into the heart of midfield. Plus he bought Ward. I went to Villa away game where we secure our survival I think Peter Reid scored, I think we won 2-1. Then we had a mini rebirth with him and Reid 5th, 5th and 9th. Then well the rest is history!!

Always remember the day he left us. Not long married, got our first decent t.v., sony trinitron.

Tuning it in and a picture came up of our manager, Howard Kendall. It was the six o'clock news saying he'd gone back to Everton. Gutted.

Had one of those mothers too, heavy as fuck, cracking picture tho.

As for Kendall, couldn't resist the lure could he, fair enough I suppose, they were HIS club.
