Nah mate, can't wrap him in cotton wool, he needs the minutes to get sharpness back, he hasn't played much these last few weeks.Given the injury to Jesus im really surprised to see Kun starting and not Kelechi because an injury to Kun now would put us really in the shit.

It now looks like these 8 guys are probably starting against Monaco:
Willy, Sagna, Clichy, Yaya, KDB, Silva, Sane, Sterling.
Plus I suspect Aguero, Dinho & one from Stones/Otamendi/Kolarov
If he prefers two central defenders, not sure who will be left out.

Said that after the Jesus injury, have a feeling he'll do what he did against Barca. Looks like a reasonable assumption now.

If God forbid he limps off today i will bump this post.
Dont get me wrong i can see the argument that he needs his sharpness etc but its a ballsy call given we have made 8 changes to still play our only world class striker whilst resting plenty of others.

Any player can be injured anytime.
Kun needs game time , I would have started both to be honest.
Good cup results against lower league teams in the past when we started both.
VK injured again is another big blow for him and the moral over all I would say coming off GJ 's season ending injury.
Hopefully no more injuries for a while. but I would rather be in our position than Arsenal and Liverpool at present at least.
Chelsea are well over due a few longer term injuries.
