95% passing accuracy against Leicester, most of them forward passes, not bad for someone who's a below average passer.
Not really sure what this is all about. The only issue I have with Vinny is his lack of reliability. Clearly stones is the future and hopefully will match VK's achievements in the years ahead. But we need to support our captain who still when fit is an outstanding player and leader. Debatable statistics about pass completion are a red herring tbh.

Really ? , VK won the Belgian Golden Shoe at 17 , the best player in Belgium , at 19 Hamburg paid £10m for him in 2006/7 ,this was when he was a midfield player , he has captained Belgium for nearly a decade and captained our club to two titles and a few other pots , so he's done well to fool so many for so long with his "below average" passing.
Vinny was a centre half in Belgium, every top team in European football were scouting him as such, his fitness/injury issues were the only reason Hamburg secured his signature.Hamburg played him in midfield during his relatively brief stay as he couldnt break up their defensive partnership, which included DVB.He's never been a natural midfielder, only a stop gap.

As for the game on Sunday,it will be difficult but i expect after initial resistance we will break them down and come away winners by a couple of goals.

0-2 away from home is a good result. 3 points is what we need. As long as we score 1 more than they do, it will be fine. :-)

I am more optimistic about this game. Players have a descent 5 day rest and also our main players did not play with feyenoord and the gane was in manchester. I am going for at least 3 goal win

I can't believe it. 3/4 weeks ago, many on here were saying how much we needed Kompany back, as we were light and also the difference he would make.
Now after 90 minutes of football, having not played for so long, he's a liability and can't pass. FFS.
Every dog has its day.
How things have changed.
Defenitely good for city.

The team picks itself, but I just find myself wondering one thing. Sergio will be annoyed with himself about Feyenoord. He positively hates to turn in toothless matches. I’d be very tempted to use that anger/motivation and pick him. That gives us a front line of Jesus, him and Sané, and a much deserved rest for Sterling, with a view to bringing him back in against Southampton. Just a thought.

People are saying this tricky, and yes, it is. But frankly, wasn’t Leicester at least as tricky? We stopped them from having one shot on target. We should be winning this. Don’t care by how many.

Doesn't matter who we play mate, someone will say this is tricky or the biggest match of the season etc

Exactly because, when all’s said & done, City haven’t been tested yet. The only team not to have played a decent team in the first 4 months. We’re such a lucky lot.

When (hopefully if) we slip up it will be like the end of the world we will be doomed.

Have you got a similar one from this/last season otherwise your argument looks a little flawed - no?

Here's one from the Leicester game. Besides the foul he made in the first 5 minutes or so he didn't put a foot wrong...bear in mind it was his first game back after 2 months. Next?

I think people are getting a bit carried away with Vincent’s bad tackle last week, it happens, but not very often
It's a worry to me that he so so rusty and he is also 2 bookings away from a ban, that says to me he is relying on going in hard rather than using his skill as john does,i'm not liking the rashness of his tackling so far but as you suggest it's early days in his return and i still pray he can get back to his best
