Huddersfield(H) Post Match Thread

Glad I went for a walk in the sunshine with the family and only watched the last 20 mins. At least we can still make the 100 point in the next two games. Hoping for a better display on Wednesday though when I’m actually at the Etihad.

Important to keep perspective. We still have 2 more games and can break alot of records (most points, most goals etc).

Get ready for another pitch invasion midweek, especially with Yaya saying farewell.

Disappointing performance but a clean sheet for Ederson to close on De Gea and we get the trophy. Didn't seem much of an incentive to put the effort in for a lot of players today but ah well, Champions.

The players seemed to expect a victory lap, and a few selfish moments stopped us from scoring early - Silva choosing to shoot instead of giving Jesus a tap in was ridiculous - and then once they realised it was going to be a really hard game they just didn't seem like they were prepared to go all out to win it, just go through the motions and hope one went in.

I imagine Pep will be pissed.

Whilst accepting that we’ve already won the league and have done it in style making it hard to criticise - that was a bag of shite.
Records were all there for the taking today and we were pretty dismal all over the pitch.
I suppose it says something about this team when you have come to expect so much more from them.
To fall short of the 100 points at this stage will be extremely disappointing.

So we can still finish with exactly 100 points and this team will be remembered as the centurions.

Huddersfield gave it everything. A point was always going to be enormously valuable to them. Wagner has done an incredible job.

Mike Dean showing again why he should be nowhere near the Premier League. Saints and Swans supporters would have been rightly livid had they scored after the most blatant foul you’ve ever seen.
