And posting pictures from his home gym about half an hour after Pep told a presser he was injured
Snide little bastard was angling for that move
He’ll probably do a Yaya and blame it on his agent. Even though agents do nothing publicly without the player’s full agreement
Can’t wait to see the back of the snide rat, just hope we maximise the fee
Why do I get the feeling that if you and Savinho was in the same room together, you wouldn’t dare say that absolute bullshit to his face?

I was trying to be supportive without giving the doubters chance to jump on me. But hey, guess what - you did that all by yourself.
If we’re a year from now and he’s still not up to speed then fine, it’s taken him a long time. But we’re in September ffs

You’ll get pelters for this…

I wouldn’t use those exact harsh words but I don’t totally disagree with you tbh.

KdB was 23 when he left Chelsea as he had not established himself. Not saying that Bobb will reach the same heights but an example that patience is needed.

That was because Mourinho couldn't see what was right under his own eyes. He missed Salah, too :-)

What is your point!!! I agree with you totally & my initial post was supporting Bobb in reply to a poster who was saying he’s not good enough since his injury - my answer pointed out that it’s too soon after a serious injury, to judge him.
You appear to have totally misunderstood my stance

By that reasoning, there can't be many posts on the Mike Tyson thread, then...
Nonsense. Tyson is an internationally known icon of boxing who has notion to do with us locally.

Savinho plays for City, who we all (most) support. For someone to mouth off on here about him being this and that, it would be interesting to see if they would do that to his face and explain why they have that view. My belief is they wouldn’t dare.

No youre not. Oscar has some promise but hes basically trading off one goal at Newcastle. Hes a yard too slow pace wise, and from what weve seen so far doesnt have the same ability on the ball that Palmer has to get away with that. The reputation Oscar carries amongst some of our fans doesnt match his product on the field atm.

I wouldnt say hes behind Savinho though. Jeremy has produced 3 really good performances in his last 3 games, but previously hes been a 1 good game in 7 merchant over his City career - our wingers now compared to what we used to have in Sane, Sterling and Mahrez (who all bagged plenty of goals every season) are one of the reasons weve dropped off.
They’ve all got huge improvement to make compared to previous wide forwards. Even with Doku’s recent surge in form, he’s miles away from being at Sané and Sterling levels at a similar age.

When Sterling was 23, he scored 25 goals and got 16 assists in 4,097 minutes (g/a every 99 minutes).
When Sané was 22, he scored 16 goals and got 18 assists in 2,946 minutes (g/a every 79 minutes).
…and they both happened in the same season, plus Mahrez (much older at 28 though) got 12 goals and 12 assists in that season n’all making it 99 goals and assists between the three of them that season.

But the current lads are still young and have got years ahead of them to improve. Doku is the older of the three (Doku 23, Bobb 22, Savinho 21) and has made a step up in recent games (although still needs to be more clinical in the box with that chance in the second half at Arsenal, could have put the game to bed… but Sterling did miss his fair share of sitters n’all).

Hopefully there’s a good step up with all of them when they get in the swing of it this season… Savinho and Bobb haven’t really got going yet after injuries.

Thought Foden was impressive last night, yeah it’s only Huddersfield but he would have taken positives from taking the ball on the half turn and going past a few of their players. The goal was a very good go and go finish too against a team that didn’t want to vacate their 18 yard box.
Watching Foden on the half turn is a moment of bliss . And the way he moves over the pitch like a gazelle .

There's a reason he was dropped as soon as Foden became fit, to be fair.

I think he's more a victim of everyone thinking, because he was injured last season and we were shit, that he must be the best young winger in the world. He's basically about as good as most young wingers are, which is inconsistent with the odd moment of magic.
Bobb is not back to his best yet after a terrible long-term injury. I’m sure he will get there.

You are Savinho’s mum and I claim my £5 ploughman’s lunch from the official Spurs VIP cheese room.

That was strange. I thought he was one of the best players last night.

Agreed. He played really well.

I think Pep needs to realise you can bollock some players in front of everyone and they'll respond well - Haaland, Dias for example.

But there's some players you can't do that to. Grealish was another one that went into a shell every time it happened.
