Huddersfield v City post match

Right, a few more comments, and I was at on the third row so didn't have a great view of anything in the far half.
They were all muscle and workrate, we were all misplaced passes. We can't rest all from Sterling, Silva, KDB, Yaya and Sane. All those we brought in might, and I stress might, do a good job when surrounded by class players but not when we bring them all in at the same time. Navas has had one good season, but that was three seasons ago, and Nolito has never impressed me.
Bravo was OK today as was Stones; I'm less convinced by Fernando but that's because he set up an early chance for Huddersfield. But he wasn't the worst in that respect and most their first half chances came from our inability to play the ball out and our refusal to hoof it and give the defence a break for a few seconds.
As for playing the kids, I'm not sure it would have been a great idea against a bunch of cloggers with an average height of nine foot six. Though it might have given us creativity.
Hope we don't end up 0-0 and extra time in the replay as we did when we played them in the cup 29 seasons ago.

I felt it was another shocker from Sergio.

Trying too hard to do too much in the wrong areas, letting his dented pride get in the way of making better decisions on the pitch.

Would go as far as to say his return has only highlighted how toothless we are as a cohesive attacking unit when he leads the line.

His head is always down and only thinking about what he can do by himself.

The guy is clueless. Works like Dickov but is a shithouse. Never puts a foot in. Never puts the ball in the net. Had enough of him, hate seeing him starting for City. Only useful on counter attacks last 10 mins when we're already winning other than that he's fucking bobbins

Won't have to put up with him much longer. 4 more months. He was decent first season but Christ he is frustrating.

He can hit a defenders shins from anywhere on the pitch. Fuckin genius how he has managed to be a winger at this club and not score a goal for years.
He put a great ball in today four yards out straight along the nobody gambled, but let's blame Navas

The offside "Goal" was quite a pathetic attempt as was the cross he flapped at (And missed) that Sagna had to put out for a corner, he had virtually f*ck all to do and could still have lost us the game, and dont give me the shite that you were anywhere near confident whenever a high ball came in.
Bravo was quality today. Calm and saved us when needed.

Why? no-one on here knows who go and who doesn't,who used to go but can't now go because of circumstances,i like to read the posts from those who go as it gives a different perspective,i remember missing a lot at games that i can see now with replays as we go along
The whole i'm a bigger blue than you is ridiculous imo

I don't think it's about that so much Karen, I think when you have been to the game you are full of emotions that you don't get watching on TV.

I remember after Arsenal at home last season (2-2) when we looked liked we had fucked up top 4, I was fuming with Pellegrini and the players. Absolutely fuming. You then log on here and post something that the next day think WTF.

I never feel like that when I watch it on a stream or Tv and I don't go to aways. I will still comment if I don't like what I have seen but I'm not as emotional as when I have been to the game.

There is a reason others don't gamble, his decision making is appalling. He crosses when nobody is there and cuts inside when everyone is moving into the six yard box. When was the last time he scored a league goal for us? Was it over two years ago? That's a fuckin joke for a winger at MCFC these days. Sorry you don't like my opinion. Tough shit.

How spoilt have City fans become? We have no right to win games, especially against a side like Huddersfield who worked their arses off today. It is obvious that the stand in players are not strong enough, but their effort could not be faulted. The two seasons under Pellegrini would have seen us lose a tie like today. Stones is improving all the time, Fernando was good once he got to the pace of the game and even Bravo was decent. The worry for me is Aguero, he worked really hard, but he cannot find that touch in front of goal this season, but his class will show in time.
Kun had no service. Navas and Nolito were ineffective. With Fernando turning like a double decker bus and Delph looking like a red card walking he had little to work with leading the line on his own on a shit pitch.
