I felt it was another shocker from Sergio.
Trying too hard to do too much in the wrong areas, letting his dented pride get in the way of making better decisions on the pitch.
Would go as far as to say his return has only highlighted how toothless we are as a cohesive attacking unit when he leads the line.
His head is always down and only thinking about what he can do by himself.
oh no it fuckin doesn't, I know people that have watched city home and away for over 40 yrs but for one reason or another don't go anymore but still support the club so your talking bollocks. stupid fuckin comment!Oh yes it fucking does. Perhaps it doesn't apply to away games where tickets are limited but it certainly does for home games.
Fair point but perhaps you are only seeing what you want to see tooI don't think that's a fair assessment at all. Sounds like you've made your mind up and are seeing what you want to.
He tried to create a lot for this around him today, because there was absolutely zero creativity behind him and Navas might as well not have been playing.
He tried to lead the line, but the only decent chance he got was created for him by Bravo.
Other than that he actually had to do everything himself because Delph and Fernando weren't creating anything and Nolito had his worst game in a city shirt.
Perhaps you meant to say "Silva, De Bruyne, Yaya, Sané and Sterling aren't playing it highlighted how toothless we are in attack with Sergio leading the line".
There is far too much sense in that post for on here, especially at this time of nightI was at the match and was very impressed with Sergio today. He had zero service. He tried all afternoon.
I thought Fernando did well, and Fernandinho was average, as were half of the others. Several demonstrated that our squad is not very deep, and that there will be an extensive cull in the summer. Oh, and bravo to Bravo!
Shame that we have an extra game, but I honestly don't think that we could expect much else with the team we fielded. Pep had to rotate, but it didn't work today. It made for a good match though.
Disjointed performance - hopefully that selection will pay off on Tuesday.
Let's hope for more highs than lows between now and May.
Sorry mate - I'll be back when I've had a few more whiskies, and regale you with my view as to how Jesus is the future for us........ Navas, I mean, not Gabriel! There is far too much sense in that post for on here, especially at this time of night
