I agree with him. They seemed to find the dog chasing/scaring the cub quite amusing and seemed to be doing very little to discourage the dog. Then momma bear shows up; isn't karma horrible?

+2 no one would feel sorry for them if they tormented a puppy or kitten and got attacked by it's mother. It isn't nice to hear of people getting killed but they contributed to their own downfall.

Why?
The bears were simply protecting their young - that's the natural order of things - you can't blame them.
I too think it's sad that lives have been lost, but I fail to see just how shooting the bears would bring them back.
