To be fair, he isn't just having a pop at you. I see him quoting my earlier posts in his comments. So he (presumably) thinks I'm a heartless ****. Fine. He's perfectly entitled to his opinion. As am I.

On this one issue you are a massive twat, normally you're a pretty descent guy It's just today your being a dick. Five people getting ripped to bits by a fucking bear isn't funny and i seriously doubt they deserved it.
I think you'll find I've been a twat on considerably more than one issue (search my post history for proof). However, on this particular case, we'll have to agree to disagree. Maybe, on reflection, ''deserve to die'' might well be a cuntish statement. However, I still maintain my lack of sympathy for them. The sound of them laughing, as opposed to shouts trying to get the dog back, leaves me cold as to what happened to them. If that makes me a heartless ****, so be it.

It makes you a first class nobhead mate.

I don't believe this for a second. Animals will kill any perceived threat or annoyance. Just as we kill bugs.

In this case the bear "murdered" the people. There was no provocation to excuse the act. Pity one of the humans didn't have a gun to shoot it before it all began. Unfortunate but people before animals every day of the week.

Whatever. Been called worse on here in the past, and probably will be again in the future. We're obviously not going to agree, so I'll leave our discussion at that.

Another case of fetlocks shouting down anyone who doesn't agree with him with Aguero in tow. I now hope your families meet a similar fate, and I'll take the stance you both took. Pair of c**ts.
That's a big soapbox you're up on there. So you'd like to see a young woman and a small girl ripped to pieces by wild animals so that you could feel vindicated in some way? I pity you, I really do.

LOL, you're clueless.

The mother bear was doing exactly what any decent human parent would do to protect their offspring.

Wow

So if a dog barks at your kid, that gives you a right to murder the dog and then kill the five adults accompanying the dog ?

Did he? I missed that one (getting old, see? Concentration levels not what they were). Whatever, I suppose that's one way of getting them off the streets. Or maybe train bears to attack them?

He did indeed, and when he asked why i was defending them (from being poisoned), i explained that my partner a few years ago had committed suicide (in my presence) due to heroin addiction, he asked if she was a "crack whore". Charming man is Challenger.

Pominoz I'm sure i apologised over that, did i not ?

Not that i saw/remember, but if that is the case, fair enough.

No, humans are the most intelligent species on this planet, so intelligent that the likes of animal researhers, camermen/women like Gordon Buchanan can avoid attacks from bears by simply saying things like "Hello bear" ,"Hi bear" in order to not spook the bears. Here's an example of what I am talking about:

The BBC have broadcasted numerous documentarys about bears in recent years, I suggest you look out for some repeats which are broadcasted on BBC Four from time to time (e.g. 'The Great Bear Stakeout', 'The Bear Family and Me.')

As for the 5 men and the dog that were 'attacked' my assumption is they were working in the bears territory and the employer provided no training nor a bear guide to assist the men.

Saying things like 'shoot the bear because humans come first' is idiotic.

@dobobobo

Can you find a clip of where the BBC have had a FEMALE brown bear and her very young cubs come into VERY CLOSE contact with a crew of 5 men and a dog that is loose and how saying "good bear, Hi bear" in that instance meant that the bear did not attack.

Look at this clip showing how friendly lions can be (If we are trying to prove a point using misleading info)
