Huge "boom" in the Midlands

A spokesman for the Ministry of Defence confirmed the bang was caused by a Typhoon fighter aircraft.
When I was in work today, having a cig outside, I saw a WW2 fighter fly over. Think it was a hurricane.

I heard it, thought it was a wheelie bin falling over, turns out I severley misjudged the magnitude of the noise haha!

Same! I'm in Rugby and I told the missus that it was a wheelie bin falling over.

Well seeing as I'm in rugby too, maybe we both heard a bin falling over and missed the sonic boom?

Odd that a minor (3.6 richter) earthquake tremor occurs in Malvern at 18:06 followed a few minutes later by a sonic boom in the Bath area as a result of a low flying RAF typhoon fighter aircraft. Weird.

Hmm conspiracy theory territory! Maybe a UFO crashed causing the boom and the earthquake!

Trivial conspiracy theory. I'm more concerned about the diving wheelie bin in Rugby.........
