Been out of work for ages now and have just been offered night work for 6 weeks, with the option of more work after that.

I have a semi final ticket and would miss both legs :(

Either stay broke or go.Brain tells me to work but im thinking fuck it.

Illness was invented for stuff like this.

You take the job. You pretend to be ill the day before both games. Ring in sick on night of games. Bob is your uncle.

Any previous employer, friend, teacher of mine would discover all my illnesses over the years have coincided with City games or events of some sort. Shame they don't check these things ;)

As I type I'm justifying to myself my decision to have prolonged my Xmas holidays until next Thursday just so I can stay in Manchester and go to the game next week.

Im not selling my ticket ill let my little brother experience something special.Gutted but I will have to work but if we get to wembley I will be able to afford it.
