You take the job. You pretend to be ill the day before both games. Ring in sick on night of games. Bob is your uncle.

Any previous employer, friend, teacher of mine would discover all my illnesses over the years have coincided with City games or events of some sort. Shame they don't check these things ;)

As I type I'm justifying to myself my decision to have prolonged my Xmas holidays until next Thursday just so I can stay in Manchester and go to the game next week.

Im going to be doing 12 hour night shifts for 6 weeks with no days off. I cannot blag being ill or i will risk being sacked or not being given anymore work.

Been out of work for ages now and have just been offered night work for 6 weeks, with the option of more work after that.

I have a semi final ticket and would miss both legs :(

Either stay broke or go.Brain tells me to work but im thinking fuck it.

If its through an agency don't take the job, as it will probably only last a couple of weeks (fucking your benefits up) and there won't be an option for more work. As agencys lie like fuck to you and personally i think they should be banned (well most of them).

It's usually the case that a new employer will honour previously booked holidays but it could be difficult in this climate and the fact most employers are self important arseholes with no life. Look into it though.
