Hughes bewildered!

Well, I disagree with most of what is being said here. AND, I for one am voting with my feet, as are another 5 of my friends.
Yesterday we all sent our season tickets back, ripped in half, and nomne of us will ever attend another match which includes Man City.
What they have done to Hughes is criminal and utterly disgusting.
Mancini, although a great player and manager in Europe, never fitted in at Leicester, and was an arrogant SOB.
Let's see where City are at the end of the season now.... If Bellamy is anything of a man, he will through his boots into the boardroom, or at the very least withdraw his superb ability as a footballer. City do NOT deserve him.
I hope amongst all hopes that the club get NOTHING this year now, and that the paymasters suffer financially as a result.
how did you 'rip' them up mate? Aren't they a bit too thick?

PMSL - One of the worst WUMs ever on this forum. If you're on a wind-up, at least try and be a bit more subtle about it ;)

To be fair mate, I think you're being a bit harsh here.

This is a genuine post and I know all six lads concerned.

They're in the padded cell next to mine... I can hear them singing their famous "Sparky give us a wave" song.

It would bring a tear to a glass eye to listen to them...

The most amazing thing about this post is that you've actually got 5 friends!

I'd get yourself on TV if you can rip your season ticket in half - I know I couldn't!!

Well he would be.

Although Hughes appears dignified I actually think he is a very arrogant man. He will accept no responsibility for what happened to him, because in his own mind he is a great innovative coach.

Since day one he has always passed the buck, blaming Elano, Sven, even the club. He has lowered expectations to give himself enough space for failure.

Hughes supporters will say why post this now, he has gone. Well yes he has gone but he is still trying to spin the media. In this he is ably abetted by the media who can't understand that a RAG legend has been treated in this way.

I have a feeling Mancini will not blame the existing players, none of which he has bought, but will in fact just quietly get on and make them play better.

At th end of the day it's understandable why some people are unhappy about Hughes's dismissal (not just city fans either!) ....... sixth in the table , and a carling cup semi spot is not bad going , despite all the money spent ..... and even if results have been a bit erratic , it's hard to argue with those placings at this stage of the season.

Hughes has also had to deal with suspensions , injuries etc , so it wasn't all plain sailing for him ..... and i can see why he thought he did his best and a pretty good job in the circumstances.

Mancinis first job will be to take on player 'harmony' ...... i'm sure if City suddenly start winning games instead of drawing them things will improve , both on and off the field ........ but i still think other than showing a bit of tactical unawareness at times , and maybe a few dodgy team selections on occasion , it's hard to criticise the overall job that Hughes did here.

It would appear from everything that i can dig up , that Mancini was looked upon as some sort of 'god' whilst on short-term loan at Leicester ..... a period in which they beat the likes of Everton , Villa and Chelsea , and drew (with only 10 men) with Arsenal .... he is said to have played well for them.

He is said to be still their most high profile signing , and contrary to what you say he appears to have been immensely poular down there ...... so much so , that he fell in love with the english game ...... and that 'love' has has helped him in his decision to move to England again.

new manger, just get behind him,i was a Hughes supporter sadly for me he as gone but we must all back the club, i must say i think he will be a good signing
