Hughes Bigging up Stuart Taylor

to be honest, i live in leicester with leicester city fans and they cannot see why we bought him. He had a stint there and they said he is ok, but he cant take goal kicks?! has to have a defender take them. Also what they have seen from Kasper they rate him as a much better player than taylor.

Kasper doesn't wanna sit on the bench though

I'm not sure who's worse tbh, Mike D or scorer, seems their only purpose in life is to slag City off.

What do you want? We needed a solid keeper to sit on the bench and that's what we got, do you have a problem with that?

PMSL at the OP. Did you wake up and think, "I know, first thing I'll do is look for a way to look like a cock and ridicule our manager on a messageboard"?

Get a life, you dweeb.

I was speaking to my mate whos a villa fan and he said when he played he was really good. He was unlucky never to get a run in the team. Think it sums up his career and cant see him being any different here, cover for shay that is it!

I've thought about this one for a while. Neither Joe nor Kasper were likely to get games once Shay came. Being dropped to the bench does not help any keeper develop really. It's the position least likely to be subbed in any game, injuries apart, therefore our two younger keepers were not likely to want to do that any longer.

Seems like Stuart Taylor won't mind that, thus its a win-win for City. Joe Hart on loan, and Kasper probably transferred so he can play again. I like Kasper, but he just doesn't yet have the presence that his dad had. I'd like to see him develop, but he won't get too many opportunities at City now. Pity.

Taylor may not be Tevez or Eto'o, but he's a useful and logical signing, with Hart on loan, and Schmeichel likely to leave. I remember him playing against City for Arsenal, when they thrashed us 5-1 at Maine Road, and I remember him having a very good game, made a few impressive saves. He was tipped to be a future England keeper back then, makes you think why he seems content to just be second choice. Good backup if Given is injured/suspended.

Journalist: So Mark tell me about your most recent signing, Stuart Taylor

Hughes: Well he's shit, but willing to sit on the bench for the year unlike Hart and Kasper which is why we brought him in. But hopefully Given stays fit for the whole season so that we don't have to actually use him.

Wouldn't really be professional...

The guy makes a valid point (if criticism is still allowed on here?). Send a young England keeper out on a year's loan and replace him with a reserve with about 50 games in 8 years. And buy an ex-Blackburn youth goalie and send him out to Wrexham.

Hughes's transfer policy worries me a tad. Although I do support and back him I have reservations about his judgement.

That is all.

If we didn't loan Hart out to Birmingham we would risk losing him altogether as he wants 1st team football to put himself in the reckoning for next years World Cup Finals.

Works out best for everyone imo, Hart will get valuable Premier League experience, which is much better than sitting on the bench for the next few years playing the odd Carling Cup game!!

Also I'm not sure how you can question Hughes transfer policy! Please name me one bad signing he's made?

Oh wo it tis me to question the signing of such a successful managers we have and tis why all these world class players are flocking to our club. Why is it that talkshite are running a poll asking the same question I thinly vieled that the majority of imboseals responding to this post are missing. Okay for the illeterate of those amongst you Is Mark Hughes Good Enough for Man Cityhttp://www.talksport.net/

For those able to comprehend get back to the porn and reading the daily sport

Have a look at his last game:

It was harsh on him but he was dropped thereafter.
