I would be very surprised. Remember, the Rag job is up for grabs in a year's time and ol' purple nose has made his admiration for Mourinho quite clear, and they both get on well with each other. IMO Mourinho will win the league with Inter this year, stay on for another season to win the Champs League (the sole reason he was brought to Inter), then take the rag job.
I don't think City will even come into it. He's already taken a small team right to the very top (Porto), he's already worked for a billionaire's plaything where he can buy whoever he wants (Chelsea), and he's currently trying to bring the ultimate trophy to a team that has consistently under achieved in that tournament (Inter).
What he is yet to do is manage one of the world's truly huge footballing giants - Barcelona, Real Madrid, the rags, AC Milan etc. One of those jobs will definitely be available in a year and he is guaranteed to be the front runner. He isn't going to come to City and risk missing out on a career-defining opportunity like that.
Just my opinion of course.
