Hughes future being considered.

I'm not sure what to do about Hughes but if we get someone new in can we please avoid:
Elephant Man
Paul Ince
George Graham
Graham Souness
Roy Keane (and if he ever did become our manager let's decide now never to call him Keano)

If Keane becomes our manager it will only last at most 24 hours because i will literally shoot the ****.

I wish people wouldn't quote him.

Quite an offensive and unnecessary term to use.

Lets decide now who's prepared to do the time. Anyone got a gun ready? (just in case)

Mybe Alfie could make a shock return, do the deed and then announce himself as manager.

If this is true then Hughes could be out Monday/Tuesday and a new manager could be in by the weekend,so no need to suspend transfer activity.

I believe Hughes will go regardless of how we perfrom from now on in the summer anyway.

Mourinho,Hiddink or Van Gaal for me,and in that order of preference.

IF, and it's a big IF, we have the Special One lined then this would be brilliant news.

If not the we could be wasting the transfer window.
Top of the league in Serie A, Champs League double header against his old arch enemy Taggart on the way. He won't be coming to City before the summer.

I really hope this is not true. We need solidarity now, continue with the plan and bring in the players that we have targeted.

We are not going down. Worse case is we finish mid table I believe. Then we have the summer to review the Management.

Robinho has probably reported back to Sheikh Mansour that he has tried his best to persuade several of his superstar mates to come to City, but it ain't happening as long as 'huseless' is in charge ;)

I'd love it if Jose came in and fucked off Dunne, Richards, Ball, Hamann, Benjani, Vassell et al in the first five minutes.

You'd see some people on here enter a logic loop and their heads would start to smoke.

Hughes has told Cook and Aldridge to get their arses in gear and speed up the transfer cycle.

Expect RSC to be here midweek, expect a firm offer going in for Given and Toure (Ireland WON'T be going the other way despite Arsenals interest).

I'm not telling you anything other than what you may have already read but just confirming it is true.

oh and just as a sidepoint, what if Hughes had told ADUG at the start of the season that a fair few of the players were not up to scratch and it would take the Window and better players to sort things out. Granted it can't get worse now the players are starting to arrive but makes you understand why he will get a chance!

Are you so naive best case scenario is mid table worst is getting relegated.

It could all be bollox of course, but it is true that this guy on mcf.net has posted some good gen before.

My feelings on it? I only hope it's true!

IMO Its the silver list (Hughes) that is suspended the Gold list (Owners) is active

You might say he's given them a fair crack of the whip in a variety of formations etc against differing opposition: they have been weighed in the balance and found wanting, as they were post November 2007.

IMO we will not be going down. If Hughes is allowed to bring in players and stay on, then we will climb the table rapidly, again IMO.

Or it's Hughes list that is in a holding pattern, and Joses stealth list that is active ;-).
