Hughes future being considered.

IMO Hughes will be gone - my reasoning being that again a shite result has made negotiations with "superstars" difficult.

i think "plan b" will be coming into effect which may well be the bringing in of a caretaker to get us through to the summer until Jose/Guus etc take over.

the approach made to basile (argie coach) made sense to me that ADUG were getting plan b ready and now may be the time at which it is implemented. ADUG have done their upmost to back Hughes but unfortunately he will be screwing up the negotiations with players like Kaka and Villa and i believe this is why ADUG will now be losing patience.

goat the legend who has been updating on the Villa saga as well as correctly informing of the takeover and the return of Sweep claims that all transfer activity has been put on hold while Hughes future is being considered.

take with proverbial pinch of salt. Thought it was worth posting.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news however MR has agreed to sign for the rags for a fee in the region of 23 m, it is due to be announced after the managerial situation has been resolved/champs league. I wish it wasn't but the gentleman who told me never feeds me duff information. I hope to god im/he's wrong.
He comes on here aswell by the the sounds of it ?
He's a WUM who they thinks Millsy btw,MOTWYW.
Who thinks hes millsy? You made that up didn't you. The regulars on there seem to think hes been right plenty of times and when hes wrong he hold his hands up, he does also clearly state that this one is a staff rumour.

Let's just put it down to experience, or huge lack of in Hughes case, and move onwards and upwards. We gave him a fair crack at it and he's failed. We put aside the fact he's a rag and he simply threw it back in our faces.

We can blame the players, we can blame the refs but at the end of the day we've not been good enough all season and rather than sack the squad, as some plebs would like, the only option is to offload Hughes to some no hopers like Bolton and for us to appoint a man in charge who we know can attract the talent our money can afford.

To be fair, if he was on here they would be saying he is a wum, but because he is on there he is reliable

I hope we can attract a manager just like that, and one with the vision and balls to clear the dressing room of the flotsam.

Lmao harsh but true .

A manager who can see shit as shit and that no amount of hard work or sweat will change that. Hughes seems to me to be the kind of guy who'd rather polish a turd than go out and buy a gem.

One mans meat is another mans poison and it appears Hughes' poison is footballers with talent and any kind of personality.

I think TMQ has summarised the situation nicely there...totally agree with it.

What an utterly uninformed, ill thought out, over the top post...

If City brought in the likes of Van Gaal, Mourinho or Hiddinck etc...I think they would be able to attract players that perhaps Hughes couldn't irrespective of league performance etc. And I'd guess the ADUG know this too.
these are the only type of names worth even considering.

Is it?

I was all for giving Les a chance but week in and week out he fails us all.

I'm aware some of you worship him as an ex rag who worked under Ferguson but let's remember that Pearce worked under Clough, Barnes worked under Dalglish. It means nothing.

Hughes now claims, cos nothing is his fault ever, that it could take 4 or 5 transfer windows for him to build a team. Well, Mark, that isnt good enough. Not at CITY.

The time to do this was about a month ago. So we should only do it if there is a Plan B which can be actioned within a small number of days with no negative impact on transfer negotiations. I think it's too late even if I would like to see The Special One walk in the door.

Interim Director of Football anyone?

Mate, if you post that the manager of a premiership team does not want to sign talented footballers...well...I stand by what I posted...

As for worshiping him....well, I guess it makes your post sound more plausible, even if it is a barefaced lie...

Interim director of fuck all would be better suited to Mr Perfect Blame It On Everyone Else

Who can we realistically get if Hughes is sacked tomorrow let's say.

I'm not against sacking him but would be interested to see some hats thrown into the ring.

IMO there's no chance of getting Mourinho at this moment in time. I like Hiidink and Van Gaal.

Avram Grant wouldn't be a bad caretaker but I'm not sure he'd be on the owners' list...

Don't put yourself down like that Billy - your posts are quite good.

City have been dire under Hughes. He has proven that he isnt upto it. He's clearly lost the dressing room and his tactics are shocking.

He needs to get away from our club now and we need Mourinho.

'Hey Mourinho, come to City now and sign whoever you want in the next three weeks.......ANYONE you want and can get'
