Well that does it for me, He has been quick to record a video of his aftermatch views following all matches this year, however in true Fergie style, didn't after the embarrassing maulingt at Spuds.
This in my mind shows clearly that the performance was inexcuseable and he knows the blame must be placed at his own door.
Generally he talks a good game, but the team selection along with some weak and unworkmanlike personal performances by several players reflect very badly on Hughes ability to motivate.
Adebayor has allowed his workrate to lesson to such a degree he is in my opinion not worth a starting place. I have serious doubts about his temperament, which is likely to stand in the way of any possitive reaction from him anytime soon.
If there was any game where the opportunity was there to blood weiss for his first full game without fear of any criticism, it was against Spuds, but Hughes, unlike Eriksson, couldn't see the woods for trees. Weiss would without doubt have at the very least given a garuantee of a hard working ethic, in a chance to really impress, but instead Hughes on a cold wet and dismall away trip, chose Robinho?
I have not been ready to jump on the Hughes out bandwaggon, preferring to wait and see if his apparent lack of tactical nouse, may show signs of improving, but enough is enough.
I am now satisfied that we can only keep giving Hughes our full support if the next 6 games are all filled with performances showing a winning ambition and signs of a real upturn in our results, but I feel it's more likely to be a case of just more of the same.
I know many blinkered Hughes supporters will refute much of what I am saying, but if that's how they feel, fine, but at least explain what it is you disagree with and justify your responses.
To me he is nearing the point of no return, and any possitive constructive insight as to why he should remain at the helm would make interesting reading.

His video was online yesterday on the Official Site??? I watched it.

I watched it online yesterday.
His team selection was hampered a little by Bellers,Swp,Bridge,Lescott all being unavailable.

But understand some of your points

Well, must be me being a bit blind, old and numb, but that is just a small part of my post and the rest still stands, but thanks for letting me know I'll watch it now, could only see Gareth Barry's when I looked.

Just had another look, can still only see the pre Spuds one, maybe my spam filters are set to block bullshit?

Thanks for the link, I owe him an appology for that part, however he owes me, quite a few more me thinks.

I have watched the video now, though when looking for it on the site, via video/interviews it seems to be hiding somewhere, is this intentional, or am I missing something?
Maybe they are listed in popularity or views?

As frustrated as I am with Hughes and the performances I am keeping calm enough to let him work through this dip in form, just.

The next 3 or 4 games will show me, in no uncertain terms what Hughes can do.

He is now beyond the 'work in progress' reason which we all accepted. I now think its a 'work in progress' excuse for deficiencies.

What really, really boling my piss though is the lack of communication on almost ANY subject from the usually gregarious Cook and the rest of the management team.

We were inundated with soundbites from the Abu Dhabi trip as all was nice in the sun.

What are we all to think about the deathly quiet that surround the massive press team and PR team that City now employ?
