Hughes tight-lipped on Tevez

Manchester City have been mooted as possible contenders for his signature but while conceding his admiration for the player, Hughes stopped short of fuelling the speculation any further.

"He was a thorn in our side [on Sunday]," said Hughes.

"I thought he played exceptionally well and he scored with an exceptional strike.

"I've read the reports about his situation but I don't want to comment on a United player."

Would love him if he plays like he did in his last 10 games for West Ham, he's been ruined by 'Them' IMO but at the minute he aint worth £30mill, but then again, it aint my money!

Anyone else think that if Hughes is being tight lipped and not wanting to comment then its a sign that we are actually in for this one.. everyone else we've been linked with has been met with a denial.
