Sorry for being a miserable dickwad but i dont think all the abuse he gets about his appearance on here must filter through? 20 odd million for a class player who works hard and wants to play each week, it would be a bargain. He hasnt scored that many but has hardly played.

Struggle to see where he starts week in week out in our squad?

Perhaps wide right but that then mean both SWP and Elano will be battling for the bench; i can't see either wanting to hang around for that (not necessarily a bad thing)

Can't see him palying up front; Robinho, Elano, SWP, Ireland, Tevez. We'd have the smallest team in the league and surely we'd then pave the way for Willy Wonker to take to the helm.

But, having said that, he would be a great signing... i think i've just confused myself.
