I know you didn't. I was just asking everyone.

Ok fair enough, I've lost faith in Hughes but Mancini seems a strange choice to me.
Mancini is a good manager IMO but I agree it's not the most obvious, whoever is our next manager holds a very prestigious role in the fact they our owners choice.

SURELY they wouldn't have Mancini there at the stadium with Hughes still manager???? That's would be pretty disgusting.

Whats also disgusting is that if its true, Garry Cook has gone and looked for a new manager while Hughes is still manager, that's below disrespectful.

Don't know if Mancini is there or not but if he is then that's a bloody awful way of putting it to Hughes, not nice at all.

Cut throat business this football thingy...Im sure his multi million pay off will keep him off the streets :)

This, reverse the situation im sure Hughes wouldnt mind sitting watching his new team.

That said, it should have not happened on a matchday.

No, that's Cook doing his job and ensuring continuity and no downtime between managers. He's putting the interests of the club before the manager, which is what he is expected to do.

true, but Hughes leaves with his reputation relatively undamaged (he wasn't a total disaster here, just not quite up to it) and the sort of pay off that'd have any of us on here dancing around the room...

Yep, classless if true.

Agreed, whoever is orchestrating all this should also be leaving on Monday morning.

Re: it's done

tentative link i know, but mancini's son did play for our academy for a bit. so could just be coming for a visit? i know it's all a bit too coincidental but you never know.

Fully agreed. I want Hughes gone but this is pathetic if true.
