Selection and substitutions IMO, were fine.

Just certain members looking as if they didnt care again, and lacking urgency.

Original team selection was fine.

Elano passed well when he came on; indeed the overall passing accuracy of the team was good but tempo of passing and movement was not high enough and made it too easy for Stoke to sit and keep their shape. shooting and crossing were poor; City needed to get the ball in the box more often and increase the odds on a defensive error or lucky break. I'd have brought Jo on at some point to give a real aerial option.

Biggest problem though was conceding a bad goal at a bad time. Stoke should never have been given the opportunity to cross the ball but marking was sloppy and the team didn't push out quickly enough.

Good points, I suppose its easy to criticise us we forget that Stoke defended superbly and with heart and guts. How many times have we seen that trump talent and skill ?

Stoke will go down, that's for sure.
They may win another couple like that but it really doesn't make for good entertainment, nor will it be enough to survive, you would imagine.
We can't compete at that level, we don't have the strength/muscle and may never do with the current players.
I'll take this one on the chin.

Micah...is he believing his own hype........erm......who made the hype in the first place....the media and the fans...typical of this country.....build someone up just to shoot them down later....a typical media tactic.
Micah puts in 100% every game...yes he makes mistakes but he is only young and he ADMITS HIMSELF he has a lot to learn......but wants to do it at city........was trying really hard today to affect the game in a positive way....nearly got on the end of robinho's pass.

MH...his team selection was spot on.....!!!!!...he kept a winning team.....what is he supposed to do....change a winning team!!!....his substituions were spot on with what he had on the bench...are peope seriously suggesting that he shoud have brough on Vass for swp....have some fans missed the last 3 seasons of Vass' completely inept displays.......????????

i wouldn't mind if it was only occasionally but your talking bullshit, it happens to us all the time, if a team hasn't won for a while...they win against us, if a player hasn't scored for ages......they score against us, we have looked poor away from home all season, wether the players are at fault or the manager i don't care but this continues finding excuses to back them up needs to stop! i don't remember the bin dippers struggling to come back and beat us 3-2 at home when we were down to 10 men and 2-0 up.
