Hughes!

All managers make subs with a few minutes to go, you can't hold that against him.

He picked the same team today he picked for Liverpool as they did a reasonable job last week.

We can't keep blaming Hughes and/or Elano/Robinho

A manager who gets the tactics right once every 5 away matches isn't good enough. We need someone who gets it right more often than not!

Fair point but I imagine Hughes is at a loss like ourselves as to why our squad, which is quality on paper, fail to perform at times. I'm not a Hughes arse kisser but he's picking our best team to be fair to him and it isnt working.

I dont think we played too badly today. We had a fair spell of pressure in the 2nd half and on the whole deserved a draw. Robinho and Caciedo should have had 2 goals a piece but West Ham played good football. Zola has turned them into a decent side.

I agree he might be putting the best 11 players out on the pitch, but I don't think his side has any shape to it, which obviously comes from the tactics he is playing. Away from home we need to be organised and we aren't at all.

I take it your really upset and this is a poor attempt at sarcasm?

As others have said just a bad day at the office.

Except for some shite finishing we could have had 2 or 3 goals.

West Ham are a decent side, and we look knackered the players badly need a rest.

Good post TMQ, some people on here also need to give some credit to the opposition. No-one is going to let us come to their ground and roll over.

come on it was no where near as bad as pompey stoke a lot is made of our away form we have had some bad preformances but also there are games where we have missed chances early on we are a totally different team when leading i am convinced if we would have scored first today we would av put 3 or 4 past west ham we are on the right tracks were getting nearer and as soon as the first one comes we will be allright confidence will grow lets keep the faith i,m still sure hughes will get it right give him a full pre season with his players and he,ll get it right you can,t build a team in 7 months and on bojinov he,s no where near fit carrying a bi of excess as well won,t see the best of him till next year which is a shame co,s he,s a great player
