I was listening to a radio programme yesterday. One topic was Ruben Amorim facing being sacked. As they were discussing it, it came up that he and Viana are good mates and they had a good relationship before and during their time at Sporting.

I couldn't help but think, what if City hires him when Pep eventually leaves? The thought wasn’t a pleasant one.

Hugo Viana was the one who hired Amorim at Sporting. Bear in mind that Amorim is Benfica through and through and this appointment was not easy to accept from the fans of Sporting but it paid off really well at the end.. not a chance that to happen here though..Amorim's reputation is already severely damaged and i can see him only returning to Portugal after he is sacked from United..

And Best was Buzzers "best man" at his wedding if IRC.

Always struck me as an unusual friendship. They weren't exactly similar characters, were they? Buzzer always came across as a solid, nó nonsense family guy. Whereas with Best, if it moved, he either drunk (drank?) it or shagged it. But it seemed to be a strong bond the two them shared.
