I think it's next year.I vaguely remember Orban first time being elected … 16 years ago, a different world (and a very different Europe).
IIRC I thought it was good that Orban was elected (from past news I’d read about him/views), how wrong I was.
Bulgaria is heading towards an election soon, hopefully the tide against Orban, will flow to there as well, as I gather it’s another Putin puppet leading the polls.
Not sure when Fico can be replaced in Slovakia, but hopefully again, the tide of populist pipe dream politicians is ebbing
Looks like the visit of JD Vance made that extra bit of difference.138 seat predicted majority.
This is crucial as they need a 133 seat majority to rewrite the consistitution and remove Orban's gerrymandering and defeat corruption and state control of the media - as they have promised to do.
BTW TISZA aren't in any way liberal but they seem to want true democracy in Hungary - and aren't in any way Putin's poodles.
Maybe just maybe the World is actually slowly waking up to who the real bad guys are?
Never before have i been so invested in, or delighted by, the outcome of the Hungarian general election.Just saw this news. Fantastic to read and regain faith in Humanity.
Thank you people of Hungary and fuck off to Vance, shitgibbon and Pootin.
No one gives a fuck if it gets involved. They want it to stop blocking EU aid.
Seems like a decent start RE: Ukraine
Who would have been your choice, Orban or Magyar? We will see mate
