Would a sham vote dictated by Orban see Hungary kicked out of the EU?
Have a feeling he won’t, he’s backed by Putin and Trump!Fingers crossed today ...... hopefully he will go quietly and another right wing nutter will disappear over the horizon .
Read somewhere that Orban’s crew are already gearing up for a loss and not accepting it. Talk of potential unrest.Have a feeling he won’t, he’s backed by Putin and Trump!
Not sure that you are correct there. I think he would move Hungary away from Russia and back into the EU fold.Diff man but Magyar and orban where former colleagues and nothing much will change internationally but more domestically . Hungary will still remain anti immigration and will not support Ukraine either but will move away from Russia . Could be good for Hungary and will get my vote .
He probably will but he has no love for Ukraine either and if he did move towards Kiev he’d be toast as most Hungarians don’t want anything to do with the war . Deep down Magyar is still right wing but with more appeal to the west .where I’m from which is near Slovakia we have no love for both Russia and Ukraine and all the people want is a strong Hungary .Not sure that you are correct there. Typical dictator shit, create havoc for everybody and declare themselves winners.
3/1 in a two horse race is actually huge odds. Of course, the US and Russia may be fixing some things in the background, and Orban might just reject the vote and do a Belarus, but as it stands, there would have to be some serious jigger pokery to keep himself in power. It just shows Bookies are taking no chances. Orban is currently 3/1 to win. With this polling and support of the opposition he should be 50/1. There's litterly not a fuckin chance he can win unless there's some skullduggery.
That could go either way, depending on what Orban has offered for their vote. Will food coupons and firewood get them out to vote?Voting turnout by 11am was 38%. That is absolutely massive.
It really isnt good odds mate with this polling.3/1 in a two horse race is actually huge odds. The question I have is what will the EU do if/when Orban is found to have fixed or fucked off the national vote?
Orban tells the EU they "must accept the result."
To me that says the fix is in.
But we have a relatively secure voting process where we cannot give direct incentives to secure votes. Orban doesn’t care about that and with Russian and US interference, you’d think those odds were quite high.It really isnt good odds mate with this polling.
For example the Tories were 50/1 to beat Labour the day before the last election. A Two horse race.

we will see mateMagyar’s main running position has been moving back into the fold with the EU and that will mean not blocking aid to Ukraine.
He also won’t be leaking all of the EUs discussions on Ukraine to Russia like Orban has.
Hungary has become the poorest nation in the EU and fixing that is Magyars priority but he cant do that without towing the EU line on the Ukraine war. So he might not be out there cheerleading Zelenskyy but just removing Orban will immediately unlock the €90Bn aid to Ukraine that Hungary has been blocking.
