The child was put to bed his mother, there were also siblings in the home, when they woke up this morning he wasn't there.

From the photos it looks like they live in an apartment block, so there would only be one door in? Sounds as if the police think he got up and left by himself!

Re: Hunt for missing 3 year old in Edinburgh

Where was the dad, is he estranged ?, what other family members hold a grudge.

There is a girl down the road here on the news because her ex has taken the kid to Egypt and she can do fuck all about it.
Basically i am looking at a family member being responsible

Hope he's OK and is found safe.

Police have arrested a man at a nearby address

The rumours are that it is a custody issue.

Hopefully the kid is inside that address waiting to be taken home.

God I hope so, rarely we see a happy ending with such highly publisised child abductions

He is a twin so it's strange the father would only take one child. I hope it's his dad and not a stranger but it seems odd not to take his sister

Having kids is a constant worry from the moment they are born but this scenario was probably my worst night mare - thank god they are little children no longer!. However I still worry just about different things as Im sure all parents do!

Sky are now saying the arrest may not be connected to the missing lad

I never once worried about my kid being taken from her bed.
