Yeah, I co-sign. A friend lived in Casper for a few years and I swore I would never visit them again after going in October.Wyoming, it’s neighbor to the West is way worse, in fact I would say the harshest State ( lower 48) by a ways. Reflected by it’s population of only 500k and twice the size of England

Exactly what the two girls I was talking to said last week, very conservative with a capital C. Trump is popular in your state as well. Saw tee shirts with loads of pro Trump and non PC slogans, best one was:We local Floridians (I'm an honoury Floridian lol) don't pay any state tax via our wages - which is great for my pay packet. The reason being is the tourists get whacked on paying tax on hotels, food and drink plus car hire and anything else they buy
Casper’s a gem, I’ve seen Metallica and Tool there, what an interesting crowd. Oil workers, Ranchers and Native Indian gangs, sketchy as fookYeah, I co-sign. A friend lived in Casper for a few years and I swore I would never visit them again after going in October.
It was odd for me, as I am used to living in Manchester, Zaragoza, Boston, etc.Casper’s a gem, I’ve seen Metallica and Tool there, what an interesting crowd. Oil workers, Ranchers and Native Indian gangs, sketchy as fook
Yes...... not too many lefties around these parts. It's the one thing I learnt quickly is not to talk politics in a bar.... I hear the conversations and stay out of it. Apart from about a month ago. Bloke I'd never seen before simply stated communism and socialism are the same thing. I couldn't let it go and went on a little rant and about 5 seconds in regretted starting..... but as Magnus Magnusson once said.... "I've started so I'll finish..."Exactly what the two girls I was talking to said last week, very conservative with a capital C. Trump is popular in your state as well. Been her during Spring Break. It's f*cking NUTS!!!Ahh. Few years back we had intended to stay there a few days enroute to friends in Crystal River. Spent a few hours just looking round and thought nah. Ended up back to Dauphin Island and stayed the week, much more sedate. Destin seems a bit too much for me, though tbf it was coming up to spring break.
You're in Maine now? You're practically a Quebecois. It was odd for me, as I am used to living in Manchester, Zaragoza, Boston, etc.
I am still getting used to living in what passes for a city here.
