You'll also feel like you need a wash after having a dip in Hyde baths. :)

Better still, pop down to a quaint little place called Salford just outside of manchester and piss yourself laughing as trafford united get dumped out of the chumps league!

Was goping to suggest the Gardeners Arms but that closed this week, why not try the Bush very friendly pub and full of City fans

Forgot to mention the Flanagans which is just across the road from the Sportsman,
Big City pub, might be a few in there, eagerly anticipating the scum getting booted out
of the Champions League!!!

Enjoy your visit.

hi lads,
a number of us hamburg fans already arrive wednesday in manchester. Beeing real football fans, we plan to have a look at the north conference match Hyde vs. Southport.
Is there any advice you can give us?
Will it be easy to get tickets?
What is best to get there from Manchester City center?
Is there any good location near Hyde to have a cider, or it's better to go back into manchester center?

(and did they allow drums? lol.)

Great effort lads coming over here and taking in some non-league football. Hyde are massively in debt and will welcome you with open arms. Hyde need to win to avoid relegation so there will be something at stake on the night. If you get there early enough you might get a game!

There is a social club inside the ground where you can get a drink (turn right as you go through the turnstiles) and I can echo the comments of everyone else about the pubs in Hyde not being brilliant. Newton station is the nearest to the ground. Go down the steps, under the train line, ahead to Commercial Brow and turn left and you'll see the ground.

On a separate note, I went to Hamburg last week and really enjoyed it -great city, great weather and we were all made to feel welcome.

I hope you enjoy your stay in our fantastic city-recently voted the best sporting city in the world!

Got to say I think it's fantastic that the Hamburg fans would want to come and watch non-league football while they're here.

I hope all the Hamburg fans have a safe journey here and back and enjoy their stay in our City. All of their fans who have been on here seem like top lads.

I work at Hyde United and we would be delighted to welcome Hamburg fans to the game tonight and would invite them to help us create a great atmosphere (drums etc welcome lol). Hyde won on Monday at Gainsborough meaning the fight for survival in the Conference North is still very much alive and tonight should be a brilliant game, with both sides giving it their all.

If you need any information about the club check out our website...

We hope to see lots of people there tonight to get behind the lads!
