Let's not forget his dodgy ,greedy ,dealings too.and BC was greedy ..
Lloyd and Burns acting as bouncers on the dressing room door as the proceedings from one of the Trent end cash turnstiles was shared out.. ..
One former forest striker recounted to me.. how all the players walked round with so much change In their pockets they could hardly walk..pre season or mid season )?) friendly in ireland sprang to mind..

Yep, went to see it at the cinema (the old Cornerhouse I think). Took my (then) teenage son along too - he was gobsmacked by some of the footage - the pitches, the tackles that didn't even get a foul that would be a straight red today, and the fact that they went through the whole season with about 14 players. Unbelievable Jeff.

Not quite a sick swan ,but still a crushing pre Xmas blow to the hoards that filled old Trafford that mid week night....hoping the famous man yoo were gonna turn another corner.
Can't remember who their manager was at the time, but it was definitely during their mid table wilderness years,a nothing team..,going nowhere,..apart from the odd cup final

Just finished the whole thing, brilliant, funny, proper footballers on those pitches, todays footballers wouldnt last two minutes, Cloughie was some character, the music is good too, those disco days (FOC)

The music was excellent tbf.its well put together. I'd recommend it to any footy fan of any age.

Clough developed a pretty consistent team in the 80s who were always likely to win a cup, and the Heysel ban certainly denied them a crack at more European success.
