I can't shake that derby feeling..

We have the players to win, but only if we show some balls and try to win instead of trying not to lose!

If play like we did against them at home, we'll lose. If we try and get away with something like we did at Arsenal, when lets face it, the post was our best player...we'll lose.

Its simple we either have a go at them or let them have a go at us, and if we do that we could be dead and burried after 20 mins.

Sorry but thats how i see it.

o-o at best
our uber defensive manager wont let them go across the halfway line ,it,ll be arsenal all over again,
if we,re lucky.
it,ll probly be the decisive moment in mancinis city reign

i hope we fuckin batter u ;)

For some reason, I hope you don't. I was shitting it before pretty much all four of last seasons' derbies, but for some reason I'm confident we'll give a good show this time. Just hoping it's not as dull as the last one.

What's your line-up likely to be?

the one i posted before.. second reply i think

Ah soz, didn't realise that was you.

Hope we line up:

-------------VDS
-Rafael Ferdinand Vidic Evra
-Nani Carrick Anderson Giggs
-------Rooney Berbatov

But not sure SAF will go 4-4-2.

If Rafael does play, I hope we make a deliberate effort to go at him and target him. He's played in at least 3 Manchester derbies when we haven't done this and he's had quite an easy game, and I feel if we do go at him, he could struggle and we could get quite a bit of joy.
I'd expect Fletcher to play over Carrick but apart from that I think your line up will probably be right.

In big games, if we go 4-4-2 then one of Fletcher or Anderson has to play, and Fletcher's form of late just hasn't been too great. Fergie always manages players well regarding rotation, and giving them rests and others chances to prove themselves, and I personally see this one suiting Anderson a bit better.

Swings and roundabouts though, really.

I (obviously) think Rafael's a fantastic player, so I don't really consider him to be that much of a weak link, though if you target him in the sense of pissing him off and get a few hits in on him, then he'll most likely go mental and get a red card.

That's his weakness. He's shown a bit of immaturity with this. A couple of early blows from our players could upset him, as you did to Bellamy at COMS last Season.
