I don't want England to go any further in the WC!

The problem is that the FA and Manager wont drop the big names regardless of there form- sponsorship deals rely on them playing.

Until we get a Manager that has the balls to just take inform players and substitute or drop players who dont perform than we will not progress.

Although it hurts to say Crouch had us in his pocket at Eastlands and would be a lot more effective upfront than Rooney in his current mindset.

I also dont think SWP should have gone never mind get on as 1st sub, he hasnt performed this year.

We should be brave on Wednesday and go with a team similar to this.

All this obituary stuff should wait until the patient has definitely died, reports of England's demise are over stated right now. I'm sure the vast majority of England fans are confident about getting a result against Slovenia and qualifying, and as I've said before, once it gets to sudden death, you just never know.

no matter what happens on wednesday ,it wont erase the last two games from the collective memory,and nor should it.A mega-bucks outfit like the FA should be incapable of producing such a disgraceful travesty that this world cup sortie has been.Embarrassing does not come close,and it will turn to open hostility by more and more as the reality sets in that we are a joke of a country when it comes to managing sport.(and everything else)
 
To use an expression which is used a lot on another forum which sums up my feelings to a tee. I am pithily unarsed about what England do. Just hope our players come back uninjured and not mentally scarred from the debacle and that we manage to get our transfer targets in quickly so that we can have the best possible start to the season. For me City have and always will be more important than England. If England show some passion and commitment course I will want them to do well but as I said right at the beginning pithily unarsed about them.

I've said previously that I used to love the World Cup & supporting England, but that I'd lost my enthusiasm for it & didn't know why. Well, I've found out why...

This generation of players has ruined my love for the English national team. I could go into individuals & their actions & why I feel like I do about each of them, but I'm sure many on here already feel the same.

I feel no connection with the vast majority of them, they aren't what I class as people we should be looking up to, and I would hate it if these players were feted & put on pedestals as some of our finest. They don't deserve it, and we as football fans & as a country deserve better than them.
