I enjoyed it anyway!!!!

I actually thought the 2nd half was really entertaining stuff. I thought we were by far the better side over the 90, though obviously we didn't capitalise on it, and I saw a red scouse mate in the pub after who agreed wholeheartedly. I'm getting really sick of the moaning on here. I'd have took a draw at the start, as the game went felt a little disappointed, but have you seen the table you dicks?

Me too, a tough bruising encounter, a cheating ref, and a dirty liverpool. A good point for us for me, and while we didn't create much, we were much the better side all over the pitch.

What was reassuring,as you say, we were better than them[and we've not been able to say that too often over the years]-----Tevez would have made a big difference and i'd have liked to have seen Santa Cruz on for the last 15 minutes.----The Ref was pathetic[when will we ever get a 'homer' Ref----like the Rags!]

It's progress over conceding home goals to the likes of Burnley etc. Think Kompany/Lescott worked well and should be developed further. Still think we need a manic workhorse in central midfield.
We've got De Jong. What we need is an improved Ireland or a new creative midfielder.

When it comes to the central defenders... I have always been taught that it is really important with consistancy and letting them gel together. Now, this pair seems to fit together, now give them at least ten games in a row!

I enjoyed it, defences were on top, good to see city defending well. Riena made the only decent save of the game. Ade should have done better with a header and we had a stonewall pen turned down. Barry and Zab's best game so far.

What !?!?! We didn't win 6 - 0, out sing them or beat them at robbing.

We're a team trying to break into top four and they're a team desperately tryin to stay there... surely it should have been at least 4 - 5... ok, 3 -2.... ok, 4 -4

Mancini out, khaldoon out, hughes out, lee out, horton out, tits out, something out...

arrrrgghhhhh

I also didn't think it was that bad. A definite improvement on the Stoke performances, although I know the difference in the style (or lack) of the opposition means it's not the best comparison.

Think we were a Carlos Tevez away from winning today.

One little criticism is that we lost the yellow card count 6-1 if my memory serves me right. If we had shown jut a little more tenacity and passion in the 50:50 tackles just maybe we might have scored. Would rather have won 1-0 with four yellows, myself. Mind you we did have a stonewall penalty when Adebayor was shoved over in the box. That win by Spurs has really ticked me off.

yeah, but as you and Danny above point out our pen in their box, if Yossi (Yosser? lol) had gone down in ours under that VC challenge (?) that could easily have been a penalty too; so I think those two cancel each other out in a way.

the lack of shots on goal was a touch concerning, but I saw a few things that pleased me today, even if the result was lacking and the referee was absolute garbage - and there should have been a second yellow for the challenge on Barry at the end.
