i fear for football

I was that hacked off i had to join!!, i mean i dont have any where near the amount of time you dont have spend on bluemoon but, i just can believe what just happened! as i am sure most people would agree to score three goals at Old Trafford and come away losing is unlucky!, but when the other team blatantly CHEAT its a sad day for football!, as we all know its not the first time!! I am sure there will be lots said about the extra extra time!, but all i have to say on the matter is derby match aside its totally unexceptionable that any referee in any game anywhere can play that amount of extra extra time in any match!, the ramifications are massive to the premier league places in Europe next season and even the Premier League title its self!, something has to be done its ridiculous that this an be allowed in today's game!!, how difficult should it be for a ref to blow a whistle at the end of extra time!!

Do referees favour the Sky Four? Without doubt. Do the FA Administer football in an even handed manner? No way. Is there anything we can realistically do about this? Not a thing. So, we either spit our dummy out and give up, or we dust ourselves down from this latest disappointment, pick ourselves up, get our injured and suspended players back, and come back stronger. I'm for the second option, who's with me? It will just make that day when we smash that arrogant, comfortable little cartel wide open all the sweeter. Believe me, I've seen nothing today to suggest that day isn't coming soon.

Refs have been giving marginal decisions to the top clubs for many many seasons. Remember the Penalties at the Kop? Still going on

Anyway, we should play to the final whistle.

Stop whining.

We got hit by a sucker punch in the final seconds. Take it, and move on

And thats why corruption and cheating is rife.

Its been accepted by too many for too long.

Have a look at the non pen at stamford bridge carvaliho on keane and tell me without laughing that it aint bent.
Howard webb the best ref my arse.

The problem is that these decisions are becoming more and more blatant as teams like us and Spurs actually challenge the authorities are are having to make it more and more obvious to ensure that the status quo continues.

I wonder if there will be any sanctions for Utd following the coin throwing incident and allowing one of their fans to invade the pitch, any sanctions against Arsenal for their fans throwing objects on to the pitch.

On a seperate note I think that Bellamy only reacted because it looked to me that the fan spat at him and what was ferdinand doing grabbing Bellamy

Spot on mate. There was some woeful defending though, especially against set pieces, and we're gonna have to sort that out before I can agree with you that our day is coming. Main thing is, going away to the swamp is arguably the hardest fixture in the season, you expect some bias (crap FK decisions, taggart time - but what we saw was visceral). We had injuries, a predictably fast-tracked ban for Ade, and we still fought back hard enough so that the redsh*te had to screw us in some unbelievable fergietime to take the three points away.

As pissed off as every blue is after this shocker, no-one's realistically going to give up their season ticket or stop following City. Seeing bias like this, whether casual or institutional, just makes me hate the redsh*te and love City more. Today I've seen the defending champions need some very dodgy decisions to beat us at their place, even with our team understrength - I still think it's a great time to be blue.
