I forgive

Was never bothered about the fallout, always saw it as six of one and half a dozen of the other. He went to war with the manager a long time before that and ultimately lost the war and paid the price.

He actually won us the title by trying to leave the summer before the fallout. We bought Sergio as a replacement then couldn't shift Tevez, and this made us a better teAm. Without him we suddenly start playing one touch football with Sergio at its heart. It gave us the cutting edge which won us the league. Tevez is a good player but he brings problems with him. He was at his best as lone frontman in the 4231. Playing him as we do He gets some good goals but runs into too many brick walls, and takes too many touches sometimes. He affects the way we play. Slows us down, loses us possession, wastes opportunities. On the flip side as a solo player he can get great goals out of nothing if he's used properly.

I don't think I'm too bothered whether he goes or leaves if things stay the same. In some ways letting him go simplifies things for the manager.

no where near his best this season.i dont think his heart is in it anymore.he has only played well once this season when he came on against them c...s.id rather have edin he scores goals thats their job.

He's had a few solid games. I kinda agree that his heart isn't here anymore which is why he should go back to Argentina now. I think we're going to have to see how this season pans out for Tevez and the team before there is a decision made on whether or not Tevez will get an extension. If no extension, we shouldn't let him go for free either!!

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere Tevez mention he was pretty ill for a month or so, so that would have disrupted his match fitness a bit too.

I don't believe he is playing any worse, it's just the team don't play through him as much as before. His perfect for games like today at the Emirates, he will work all day and constantly pressure the defense.

We need to find a better way to utilise Tevez's strenghs in our new system, and he will be very worth while for those games where we can't break teams down. Either way, I'm happy with him so far. All of our strikers haven't found the same fluidity as last season and I generally think Aguero's improved his play, but his just not scoring as many goals, which is a problem still.

It will all fall in to place soon, hopefully just not too late.

I wouldn't offer one, nothing to do with his Munich issue that is history.

It's completely down to his lack of goal threat.
He works hard and puts a shift in but feel it is time to go a different
Route. He seems to have lost some pace , I know he never relied on pace
But he could still burst past players. I think that extended break
Did him more harm than good physically.

Lets get some pace as we are too predictable!

Totally agree.

Tevez always seems to speak his mind in interviews and he sounds well behind us now.
My feeling is we wouldn`t have won the league last year if he hadn`t come back in such good form.
And yes this time last year I could`ve shot him!!

I think I would forgive him if he signs a new contract. I still don't trust that he's turned a corner, everything seemed fine one of the other times and he just handed in a transfer request from nowhere. I think seeing him put pen to paper would cement the trust with me. I would say he's deserved the contract extension from how he's applied himself so we'll see...

Agree with DD here except I was bothered about the fallout. Well done to our top level management for showing him, and all our players that when it comes to something as serious as this that they won't be pushed around.
