I can't stand that radio advert about erectile dysfunction. I don't get what it is saying. Some socially awkward bloke can't get an erection and goes around bumping into tables and knocking drinks over. Then he realises his problem and does something about it. Then he tells a woman she looks lovely, in just the same tone of voice that would make anyone normal run a mile. Am I missing something here?
 
It is awful that all you lovely people are forced to watch/listen to these terrible adverts, if only there was a way to avoid them.

Mute the tv, go and make a brew, or just record the programme, watch it at 9.20 and skip the ads.
 
The aftershave and perfume ones do my head in, a mini film noir that probably cost more than your average hollywood film and tells me fuck all about the product

In something long like Maple, Poirot, Frost, &c I tend to do bits of jobs around the house - preparing food, washing up, hanging up laundry, folding dry laundry for the airing cupboard - jobs that have to be done at some time.
