Yeah I do tend to agree with the OP that most our songs sung in the ground now are shite and boring.The fact we still only have we've got Robinho for Robbie is shocking really.It is a shame we can't get that Tevez song going because the current one is boring,rubbish and an orignal rags song.

As much as I hate the Robinho song, it does remind me of when we got bought (which is still on my Sky +).
There was a great suggestion a few months ago... I seem to remember singing it at Everton:

We had a class one for Robinho in Schalke(?) everyone was bouncing to Robinho Robinho can't explain the tune but it was class, hopefully someone could help me out.

w've lost a lot of the songs that weren't passed on! in the uefa cup final in vienna my dad said we were singing
" you're my pidgeon, your my dove, your my city..the one i love "
i know its awfull but we are losing songs through generations. step up songsheets for fans who go " once in a while "............why not?

I think it's a decent idea but I'm struggling with some bits and I cant think of anything better :(
Roque the long tall Sally
Had a very upright pose,
And if you ever saw it,
You would even say he grows.
All of the other players
Used to laugh about his dodgy knees
They never let poor Roque
Join in any City games.
Then one sunny afternoon
Petrov came to say,
Roque with your fod so high,
Won't you score some goals tonight?
Then all the players loved him
As they shouted out with glee,

You'll be part of City history.

I remember someone singing that to himself for about 20 minutes at Watford away under Pearce.
i think most of them are good, but i dont like the short 3 liners... at least we have a variety of songs unlike most clubs in the country.

still gets sung in pubs goes, after the on i love everyone shouts again then repeat the song over and over again
