Im not having this discussion if you dont read posts properly and can't come up with a constructive reply, what are you 15-16? 17 at a push. I expect you are used to the modern day football and accept whatever chant comes through and starts getting sung, but when you have been attending football since the late 60s and remember getting in grounds 2 hours early and screaming your heart out in the stands, It is embrassing to see some our support coming out with pathetic excuses for songs and then ignoring it when there is clearly a problem.

Anyway, Rant over.

Whilst we're on this subject, can I take the opportunity to plead with anybody who sings the Colin the King song to sing it the way we used to when Colin was actually playing, and the way the song it was based on (Lily the Pink, by the Scaffold) was actually sung.

It should be:

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee'll drink a drink a drink, etc

with no special emphasis on "world." Then it makes sense, and you can sing it more than once.

I don't know when it changed, but the way it's sung now, "the greatest inside forward that the worrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" and then just dies away or starts again, drives me potty. What's that supposed to mean? It makes no sense.

He is right the rags have loads of brilliant songs,when they are away they sing loads and they are very original.At one time I thought are lack of decent songs for our players was because most of them were shit.Then we sign Robinho and 12 months on we've got Robinho.

Well perhaps you could tell me a few mate because I have never heard any sung at a derby where i thought what a great song i wish we would have thought of that

Well Im not going to start typing out a load of rag songs,but trust me on this one they have miles better songs than us.The thing with the derby is a lot of their proper fans that do most aways often don't get tickets because they sell them to the suits.Which pretty much sums that club up really.
