Throw everything including the kitchen sink trying to sign one player ala Ronaldo. Don't get him, and end up with nowt but egg on our faces. There are other stars out there who are motivated by money that we could have in the bag all ready!
 
agreed, theres loads of decent players clearly up for sale at the right price..RSC, Palacios, Parker, Bellamy, Pennant, Upson, Jenas, and we're pissing about in Milan with a slim chance of getting Kaka

I hate Bellamy and Pennant and think Jenas is overrated but other than that I kind of agree with you.

However I firmly believe that we will sign Kaka and he will be awesome for us. Still not sure quite how the team formation will end up.
 
First off, its hardly a slim chance and secondly NO BUGGER has ever had this amount of money for buying and paying footballers. That needs to be taken on board because to all intents and purposes, we are a bottomless pit of money.
 
The £100 Million is silly money.

BUT it is a big statement by the Arabs to show there not fucking around.

Trust me, with our wealth being such public knowledge, any player City go for now will be a big deal for the selling club and will have it all over the papers. Get ready to pay inflated prices for anyone and everyone we go for. I know we like to comfort ourselves by saying those lot over the read just throw money at players but we know deep down that in the past they have been held to ransom because of their prestiege and former wealth.


We have made 3 bids for Craig Fucking Bellamy reaching over £12 now and The Ammers still wont sell, why? Because we have infinate funds. If it was Everton for example they would have sold him for £10m in a heartbeat. It's something we'll just have to get used too :-(
