I hope West Ham get relegated.

I like West Ham too, always have. I think they should keep Grant. They have some decent players capable of winning games so I think they will stay up. Obinna can do something from nothing, Parker is a criminally underrated footballer who I'd have loved to have signed, Piqionne(Sp) can score(or miss) from anywhere and Cole will always be a handful.

Good luck Hammers apart from tomorrow.

have to say that I agree with most posters on this one. The hammers have had it shit like us down the years.

Great ground, great set of lads and even decent boozers. I hope that they stay up and win the CC, because their fans would enjoy that as much as we would enjoy winning the league.

Also remember a few years ago when the ICF flucked all over the rags and for that alone, I will always have good feelings for them

I certainly don't want west ham relegated. My girlfriends family are all hammers. I really hope they stay up... My birds brother always sticks up for city whenever there are rags or other pleb fans wittering on with themselves...

I hope you don't mind a cockney bastard coming on your forum but I have been reading this thread and have been quite intrigued by some of the comments and have to say the feeling is mutual.

Despite managing to get arrested on the Kippax in the 69-70 season I have always felt an affiliation with Man. City. In fact many Hammers of my generation did (and still do) and I really can't remember how this came about. Probably partly because we always detested your across city rivals. They ranked alongside Millwall and Chelsea in the vermin stakes . However, I think it was more a feeling of shared social backgound and of being perpetual underdogs. You didn't support Man City or West Ham for the glory; you needed to be a bloody masochist. At least things appear to be changing for you now and I am pleased, you deserve it. Unfortunately we seem to be heading south and I am not optimistic that we can avoid the drop. It has been coming for a couple of seasons now.

I have not been to Eastlands but I would be interested to hear how you lot like it compared to Maine Road. As you know our lords and masters have got this crack pot scheme to move us to the Olympic Stadium in Stratford. Nobody I know wants to go over there and watch football in a soulless generic bowl with a running track surrounded by a load of corporates and prawn sandwich munching tourists (there is enough of them at the Emirates and the Bridge). Too much family history and emotion attached to Upton Park for me to contemplate moving. I can't bear to think about it.

Please go easy on us this weekend. All the best for the rest of the season.

Yes add me to the list of having a soft spot for the clarets.
I think they will stay up as all they need is a couple of wins on the bounce.
Still early on in the season and Grant should be given more time.
Come on you Irons ( Not tomorrow anyway )

The COMS was designed for Football and is also multi-purpose in the sense that it can be used for Pop concerts etc. The Olympic job at Stratford is less so and I fully agree with any Hammer who won't accept it in the present state.

You're telling us to go easy on you today... West Ham will do nothing if they have that kind of mentality before kick off.

As for the move IMO as the club is growing the atmosphere is getting better but i still miss those days in the kippax.

Always had a soft spot for them. But since they've been taken over by the classless barrowboys (David Sullivan has slagged us off publicly on the BBC) I now hope they go out of business. We have a chance of starting the process on Saturday by murdering them at their place, so please god we do.

i dont, you can't punish good fans for who the clubs owners are.

I have invited a West ham fan to watch the match with me and a few of my mates today in the pub, and he will be looked after regardless of the score. Nothing wrong with West Ham, hope they stay up.
